To limit any possible errors in artwork, designs will not go to production until approved. Choice will not be responsible for errors if the customer has approved proof or if the client has indicated that the order goes to production without proofing upon order.
Choice will make every effort to ensure that proofs are free of any grammatical and spelling errors, before supplying them to the client. It is agreed that it is the client’s responsibility to completely review their proofs and ensure that there are no errors contained in the text. It is agreed that Choice will not be held liable for any errors contained in the final product after the final product has been approved by the client, committed to print, and/or posted in view of the public.
Choice will ensure that only royalty-free images are used in custom designs. It is agreed that Choice, its employees, and suppliers, will not be held liable for any damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related issues, copyright, or trademark infringement.
Where colour matching is a priority, the client shall provide or choose an appropriate Pantone colour code and request a colour proof before going to production. This must be requested. Because of the differences in certain pieces of equipment, paper stocks, inks, and other conditions between colour proofing and production, a reasonable variation in colour (2 – 5%) shall be considered acceptable when printed on the same printer.
Claims for defects, damages, and/or shortages must be received from the client by email within a period of five (5) business days after delivery. Failure to make such claim within the stated period shall constitute irrevocable acceptance of the product and an admission that they fully comply with terms, conditions, and specifications.
A request to cancel project must be received by email and confirmed by Choice two (2) business days before scheduled printing. Choice will charge for the number of hours accumulated and/or cost incurred for all work performed.
The design time stated at the time of initial order shall be used as an estimate only. This time may vary with new or changing information, artwork, or material. Any edits to artwork are defined as work performed. Each session of edits/artwork changes is subject to a minimum design charge of one (1) hour at the hourly design rate. Any increase from the estimated costs will be communicated to the client prior to commencement and the client will be afforded the opportunity to accept the increase or accept the work as-is.
If the client requires that work performed matches the estimated rates, it is important to send all conceivable design requirements upfront, and not add new requirements after each iteration of the design. Clients will not be billed for corrections made due to mistakes by Choice before the final approval. The design consultation is to be considered work performed.
When a project is requested before a specific deadline at the time of estimating, all additional costs will be included on the estimate. However, if the client requires a finish date earlier than provided on a previously approved estimate or current order then additional costs will be charged at 20% as a ‘Rush Fee’. Design proofs that are required faster than the posted first proof date are also subject to an additional fee of 20% of the Design Portion of costs. Rush design orders are subject to the discretion of the Design Manager.
All quotes are valid for five (5) business days from the quotation date and may not include taxes.
Products will be stored for a period of 14 days. Failure to pick up product order or make other arrangements from the ship date, the order will be discarded. The product will be charged to your account and it is non-refundable.
